“Dare accepted,” I smirked, taking the whole glass of tequila in my mouth. I raised from my seat like a rebellious spark.
With a mischievous glint and playful smile on my face, I walked towards a random figure in the bar section of the club. Consumed by a moment of reckless joy and unbridled freedom, I grabbed one of their collars, turning him towards me.
I tilted my head back, letting a mouthful of tequila cascade onto the stranger's face, the golden liquid glistening on his skin. His eyes closed because of the impact.
And, God, I would have died there if I were in my senses. Is he even human? I mean, can a human be this beautiful? Chiseled jawline, sharp cheekbones, dark tousled hair, and a hint of stubble for a ruggedly handsome look. And what not?
But suddenly, the metallic sound made me turn around. A few people had circled me by now, not just me but us. I was still holding his collar, looking at those men with guns in hand and the person I had just thrown tequila on.
“Tell them to put the guns down,” I said, searching his eyes—his eyes, God..... The moment he opened them, I lost it right there. Piercing brown eyes that seemed to miss nothing, not a single bit.
“And why though?” he asked. I almost cried, not out of fear but because of the deep voice. His voice. It's sexy as hell.
“Because they won't be able to stand still if they don't put the guns down in 30 seconds,” I whispered.
“And who are you, Ms.?” he asked, leaning in closer.
“Nightmare,” I replied, our lips inches apart, noses brushing.
“Oh, so Ms. Nightmare, what's your age?” he whispered. The least question I was waiting for.
“Don't go to age, hotty,” I said, grabbing him tighter—not for lust, but to warn him.
“Why? Are you a 50-year-old woman trapped in a merely 20-year-old girl's body?” He chuckled.
Damn! His voice... so sexy, hot, filthy, and rich made me come right there.
“17.”
He raised one of his eyebrows, scanning me from head to toe.
“It's my graduation day from high school,” I tilted my head.
“Who are you with?” he asked in a raspy voice... so daddy-coded.
I smiled faintly, looking behind, but the seats where we were playing truth or dare moments ago were empty. I chuckled.
“Cowards,” I whispered.
“Huh?” he asked.
“I came with cowards,” I replied, leaning dangerously close to him. Actually, I didn't want to, but the impact of tequila didn't let me stay strong.
He instantly grabbed me by my arm.
“Stay still,” he growled.
Instead of getting angry, I smiled. Really smiled, like a fool... like a child who got her favorite candy, like a hungry lioness who caught her prey, and like a crazy, mad, bookish girl who found her fictional man... Yeah, her MANNN.
“Stupid girl,” he said, holding me still as I swayed.
“Give me your daddy's number,” he barked finally.
Daddy? Oh no, he will be disappointed if he finds out I drank before the legal age.
Actually, I didn't drink... just the tequila entered my tummy without my permission.
“Scared?” he smirked, maybe noticing my facial expressions.
“No... but I don't know your number yet,” I batted my lashes acting innocent, as if I hadn't just said the filthiest line in the whole world.
He looked into my eyes... Finally looked, and I... God, I almost peed my pants; his eyes are just like the ocean.
“Girl, I am almost twice your age. You shouldn't say things like this,” he whispered in my ear.
I narrowed my eyes.
“Uncle, please book a cab for me. I will go home.” I smirked at the shift in his expression as soon as I called him 'UNCLE.'
“Dare to say that word one more time, and I will tell you with whom you're playing.” His expression was colder than Siberia.
“Dare accepted... U. N. C. L. E.”
